Sea Gull Bench

Sculptural Bench
Glass fibre reinforced concrete has fantastic sculptural and three-dimensional properties. The silky matt surface has a very attractive appearance, and the use of white cement adds sculptural values to the bench. Thanks to a special surface treatment the bench is weatherproof, durable and quite easy to maintain.

Strength
The strength and flexibility of glass fibre reinforced concrete allow slim dimensions. The desired strength of the 3.6 metre long bench has been obtained by using additional steel reinforcement, and the solid pre-cast foundation ensures stability.

Design
The design is inspired by flying sea gulls at the seafront forming a gentle link between water and land. However, with its light and organic design the bench will easily fit into other types of environment such as public parks and private gardens.
